Modern healthcare runs on software. When ransomware, disaster, or sheer load takes the record away, some systems degrade gracefully and some fail catastrophically — and the difference is knowable.
Health system resilience is not just an IT problem. It's public infrastructure, and increasingly a security question.
Approach
The Stress Observatory: public-document case research on real incidents — extended EHR downtime, ransomware, disaster response — building toward a degradation typology.
